Meet Dr. Shannen Boyd
Dr. Shannen Boyd is a board-licensed Chiropractic Physician with over ten years of experience helping patients achieve healing, pain relief, and improved function. She holds a Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic–Florida and a B.S. in Biological Sciences with
a minor in Genetics from Northern Illinois University.
We offer a range of services, including chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy, and nutritional support.
Dr. Boyd is trained in a wide range of techniques, including Diversified, Gonstead, Flexion-Distraction, SOT, Craniosacral Therapy, extremity adjustments, cold laser therapy, visceral manipulation, and RockTape Functional Movement. Her specialties include pain reduction,
postural improvement, sports medicine, pediatrics,
weight management, and injury care counseling, to help our patients achieve their health goals.
Aleena, our Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), has over seven years of experience and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). She graduated from the College of DuPage in 2019 and has a strong background in anatomy-based therapeutic massage. Her specialties include Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Headache / Sinus Relief, Prenatal Massage, Decompression (cupping), TMJ-related dysfunction, sciatic pain relief, and other soft tissue conditions.
She also incorporates Eastern modalities such as Acupressure, Reflexology, and Gua Sha to support whole-body healing and functional relief. She's driven by her passion for providing therapeutic, intentional care that supports the body through physical, emotional, and even spiritual care.
In her down time, she enjoy spending time with her loved ones and her two sweet kitties. Some of her hobbies include dancing, writing, reading and being out in nature!
